+ On the Process
I had an instant connection to "Windows" upon listening, which grew stronger after reading the lyrics and reflecting on the past couple months of my own life.
The footage used was shot from the windows of my apartment, while in quarantine during the apex of Covid-19 in NYC.
For me, the video is about meditation, confinement, and observing the mundane, while experiencing something completely different. Looking at the neighbor's flowers but imagining someone's life story.
+ On Issue Six
Seeing the pieces in full, appropriately book-ended by clouds, reminded me of the life cycle. I was able to appreciate that immediately and felt grateful for the small moment that each person put forward, and for the short period of time we were connected by the idea of divination.
